I have had so many amazing adventures. In Winnipeg, Noah and I rode bikes for hours. We rode into downtown winnipeg and through the rain and had great talks and saw amazing record stores etc. Downtown Winnipeg was real beautiful with some older parts of the downtown. Bill Cosby was playing the next week.

Then yesterday we played in the gorge. It's like Red Rocks but in the middle of Washington State. 3 hours from Seattle and 3 hours fro Spokane. Its on the ridge of these hugge cliffs and right above a massive river that cuts through the state. Jake and I hiked 3 miles into the canyon and all the way to the river. It was truly amazing. The hike was alot harder than we had thought and even at some times a little overwhelming. Here are a few pictures of bbq at the bus around the Gorge and also some good scenic views.

it has been almost a month since i updated this last.
i always come back to certain things. some of them i wish i didn't, some of them i know i should'nt, but i do.
the life i live is such a fake reality. It is life happening 110% always, flying at and right past me. This life is such a lie. I come away from this and life has not skipped a beat. But yet i'm a little more behind. Lost a few more friends. Without a little more love. Farther and farther from the life i truly want to live. but what do i know anymore... only this.

I never realized how things I am doing can really hurt people and it tears me apart.
I don't even know what else to say. I really am trying but cant find the words.

7 am and i'm in the hills of pennsylvania watching the sun come over the tree line. this is what i will turn to today. the trees, the wind, the sun, my breath.

a year from now I really feel like things will be very different.

Robby and I got to be apart of this over in London in September. I miss that trip alot.

this was one of the funest days ever.

Escpecially how they hired private buses to take us all from London to 2 hours out in the countryside. I still feel for the drivers of those buses. They hated there lives.

i have been home and it has been so nice.
except now im not home anymore. im in Carborro, Nc for 2 days.
it is so nice here. i want to live here now. really badly.

i have simply been enjoying peoples company as of recently and it feels right.

it feels like something i always want. Just sitting and talking and listening.

i love the people i love and the people who love me.

i have a crazy brain i realized but its ok. i like it that way.

i just slept the latest i have slept since i have been home. I had been having problems sleeping and waking up eveery 3 hours etc. last night i slept in my car outside a bakery and just slept till 1130am. it feels great. best sleep ve had since ive been home.

im being taught so much. its an overload. im learning and trying to be patient and wise. im learning to trust and to live and not worry.

these are things i will always struggle with but as of recently learning to trust is so hard. i want to control and make everything right. thats not what happens and thats not reality. i have to accept that.

i want people to see what i see and how it makes sense. but they dont. they might never. some might. others might just want to throw up. i dont know.

im getting better and better at living alone. i dont know what this means but i just know that when im completely by myself nothing bothers me. nothing. i dont think about clothes or showers or food or friends or what to do. i just sit and watch and think. i think i need to travel by myself for a year.

the whole world for a year and go where i go. let the Lord lead me.

thats what i will do.

today and it is great!

tour has been wonderful. the next 10 shows are sold out.

i have been reading alot recently and it has been really refreshing. reading is so good for the soul.

we had some rough times from Seattle to Salt Lake City to Denver but im alive.

Honestly, we had it real bad. I was driving at one point through dead mans pass in oregon, and it was snowing hard and we were going about 30 and the trailer fishtailed and took the van with it and we almost rolled. (run on sentence wow).

We then blew a tire at about 2 am in the middle of a national forest with no cell reception. We couldnt jack the van ourselves so we had to stand on the highway and flag down a cop and finally go it done. It was very frustrating,cold,and scary.

Myself the Road Hog and my road pups made it through.

This tour is flying by and then Im headed into Warped and then Sonny will be touring again in the Fall.

I saw the bird and it was great.

hog & bird are planning travels and world takeovers.

We left LA last night about 2am. Drove through the night and made it to outside of tucson,az before I took over. There is something about the desert that is so great. Such a spirit of adventure and mystery to me. Plus I'm way into Indians.

We are driving to el paso tonight and staying at a studio ranch up in the hills where some buds of ours recorded earlier this year. This ranch is amazing and they have a pet racoon. A racoon that is friendly and they feed and hangs out like a dog or cat! If I could be any animal I would be a horse. Just sayin.

I couldn't be happier with the crew we have on this tour. The vibe of our guys is so creative and loving, I'm really excited to see how this tour goes...

I'm on the verge of a bird hog reunion and that is such a good thing. 2 weeks. I'm on the verge of a birdhog same city life. That is even better.

Even as much as I am dissapointed with the human race daily there are people who continue to show such love and kindness it gives me hope. It inspires me.

so friday night a lil bird told me Old Crow Medicine Show was playing a secret show in Nashville. I enjoy this band alot. It was under a local record store in a lttle venue called the basement. The place holds MAYBEE 150. they played from about 12:30am to 2am under the fake name "the blood donors". It truly was a great experience. Got to speak to a few of the guys and they were super nice. We talked about punk rock and the importance of it in music today. Not only musically but ethically.

When Robby and I were in England in September we got invited to be in our friends music video. It was shot about 2 hours outside of London in this little English town and at a old train depot they used during WW2. Such a good day. Im in most of the video and the last stand off scene between Lethal Bizzle and his crew and Gallows. Just watch.

Tour went so well. I feel so stoked about having the chance to tour with the guys I got too. Team Sleep was super great every night. I enjoyed making new friends and the experience of touring with a new bunch of guys. Truly great! Im home in NC for the Holidays and things are fine. Im getting caught up on some much needed sleep and enjoying the company of old friends.

Im headed out with Norma Jean for a few show over New Years then back to Nashville for the start of the new year. I have no tours Jan or Feb so im going to be hanging out and trying to write much more than I have been. The Hardy Boys are playing some shows in Feb and im very excited about that. I have some opportunities coming up in 08 that could be really huge for me. We will see what happens!

I'm in hollywood at the moment. It is very nice. I've always hated LA but since this I'm here more than just 12 hours in and out for a show, it is quite enjoyable. I'm out here doing rehearsals with a artist I'm tour managing for starting thursday.

i was out with hot vegas this week for a bit. had a great time with those dudes. then i left jacksonville, fl at 10:15 pm and got on a greyhound to atl. got to atl at 630am. got offered some drugs, and had to pass that up. big thanks to the nice bum for the offer. jake picked me up and now im headed to cornerstone all week with the norma jean dudes sellin merch. come say hi if your going to be there!

New york is well new york. Im into it
Making some new friends and spending time with old ones.
The weather here is more amazing than I could have ever expected. It may get warmer but for right now it is amazing.
